This is the kind of thing that usually happens after a team wins the title, and is gunning for its second (or third or fourth or etc). But if we’re being honest, it’s what the Clippers have been doing pretty much all year. Right from the very beginning, they have coasted through quarters, games, even stretches of the season, before flipping the switch.
