Last series against the Celtics, the Heat used a heavy dose of zone defense to slow down Kemba Walker’s pick and roll attack. It worked remarkably well for almost the entire battle, and even when the Celtics seemed to crack the zone and figure some things out, the Heat kept going back to it in hopes it would throw Boston off for a few minutes at a time.
