Over the past several years, no phrase has gained more momentum in the NBA lexicon than load management. It’s the term that gets used whenever a team wants to give a guy a day off for no particular reason other than “the regular season isn’t that important and we don’t care about this game so yeah we’re just gonna sit him down and you can deal with it.”
