What's Up With That: Cleveland's Sagging Offense
The Cavs have a bottom-10 offense a quarter of the way through the season
Have you heard of the Saturday Night Live sketch, “What’s Up With That?” It’s terrific, and one of my all-time favorites.
Basically, Kenan Thompson plays a ridiculous talk show host who brings on three celebrities for what are ostensibly promotions and/or interviews about “important issues” but instead of doing that, he just… constantly interrupts them to sing the show’s theme song instead, and he has a whole host of backup dancers and absurd guest appearances by preposterous figures, and he never actually gets to the interviews. One of the guests is also always Lindsey Buckingham, and he’s apparently been on a million times but never gets to do whatever it is he’s supposed to be doing there. It’s completely ridiculous. But it also raises a good question: What’s up with that?
All of which brings me to this: What’s up with Cleveland’s sagging offense?
