After last night’s demolition of the Pistons, the New York Knickerbockers surprisingly have a top-10 offense. Their 113.9 points per 100 possessions average is tied with the Warriors for the ninth-best mark in basketball. This is the case despite the fact that the Knicks, well… they can’t shoot. They’re connecting on only 32.3 percent of their threes (the third-worst mark in the league ahead only the Lakers and Hornets, who are each at 32 percent), and as a result rank 24th in the NBA in effective field-goal percentage.
So, how the hell is this happening?
