The season is winding down. You’re going to see everyone start releasing their awards ballots pretty soon. I wanted to do the same, but I’m not quite ready to narrow down things like Defensive Player of the Year and Most Improved just yet.
So instead of the traditional awards, today I’m unveiling the All-Dubin Teams. There are three of them, just like All-NBA. The main criteria here is that I really, really enjoyed watching these guys play this season. The secondary criteria is that they were not All-Stars and they won’t be in the mix for any of the individual season-long awards.1 Basically, I’m just looking to highlight some the not-obvious guys whose play just spoke to me for one reason or another throughout this year.
There’s also a lengthy list of honorable mentions in the footnotes.
Without further ado…
First Team
Guards: Mike Conley, Jalen Suggs
Wings: Josh Hart, Isaiah Joe
Big: Isaiah Hartenstein
