The Lakers lost again last night, this time to the Pacers, at home. They’re 22-23 now, sitting in eighth place in the West only due to the fact that the conference is weak for the first time in forever. At FiveThirtyEight, they’re projected by RAPTOR to finish the season just 37-45, with a 29 percent chance of making the playoffs. Their odds to win the Western Conference are down to just 1 percent, and of winning the title just 0.4 percent. By all accounts, this is a disaster-level season.
